XM Group and Hope For Children launch campaign to combat school bullying

XM Group, in collaboration with the Hope For Children CRC Policy Center, has launched the "Every Bully Has a Story" campaign to address school bullying in Cyprus. The campaign features dramatized scenes based on real-life bullying stories and aims to educate parents, teachers, and children on the root causes and consequences of bullying. It stresses the importance of understanding the experiences of all children involved—perpetrators, victims, and bystanders—to effectively reduce aggressive behaviour.

In addition to the campaign, XM Group has been supporting the 1466 Helpline for six years, providing 24/7 psychological, social, and legal assistance to children and adults facing abuse, neglect, and bullying, including online harassment. A new XM Child and Family Counselling Centre will soon open in Nicosia, offering free face-to-face support services in a welcoming environment.

The campaign highlights three typical bullying scenarios, revealing how home environments and social isolation can lead children to act aggressively or suffer silently. Its ultimate goal is to encourage community reflection and proactive support, aiming to foster healthier, balanced growth for all children in Cyprus.
