Free BridgeSTEAM programme offers girls aged 14-16 hands-on STEAM experience in Limassol this October
Girls aged 14 to 16 in Cyprus have the opportunity to participate in a free two-day BridgeSTEAM programme at PwC’s Limassol offices on October 10 and 11. Organised by the Girls in STEAM Academy, the initiative combines practical programming, digital skills workshops, career guidance, and interactions with women working in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
The programme requires no prior programming knowledge and aims to introduce teenage girls to potential studies and careers in STEAM fields while fostering communication, teamwork, and confidence. Activities will also address social challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Applications are open until September 30, and participants will join an alumni network providing access to further educational and professional opportunities. Additional BridgeSTEAM sessions are planned for Nicosia and Larnaca later this year, sponsored by PwC Cyprus and other partners.
