Driver rescued after vehicle crashes into railing on Kofinou-Agios Theodoros road

A driver collided with a railing on the Kofinou-Agios Theodoros road in Larnaca district on Wednesday night around 8:35 pm. The accident is currently under investigation by authorities. The driver was trapped inside the vehicle and was rescued by a vehicle and rescue team from the Fire Service’s Disaster Response Unit (EMAK) using specialized equipment. After being freed, he was handed over to an ambulance crew and transported to the hospital.

Upon receiving first aid treatment at the hospital, the driver was later discharged. Details surrounding the cause of the incident remain unclear as investigations continue.
