New Free Education Ecosystem 'The League' Launches in Cyprus for Teens 16+
A new year-round education ecosystem named The League has launched in Cyprus, targeting teenagers aged 16 and older. Designed to bridge the gap between traditional schooling and professional demands, The League offers a variety of independent programmes including Saturday sprints, week-long bootcamps, hackathons, and a year-end showcase. The initiative aims to provide real-world experience through industry-linked projects and mentorship.
The first programme open for applications is the Agentic AI Basecamp, a free eight-week, hands-on course where participants build and deploy an agentic AI system from scratch. Applications are open from September 10 to 25, with the course starting on October 3. The Basecamp focuses on practical skills, including coding, deploying AI agents, and demonstrating projects in a final Demo Day.
Founded by Yulia Tarasova and Dr Kirill Krinkin, who have extensive backgrounds in tech education and industry, The League employs a chaordic learning methodology. This approach emphasizes problem-based learning with real industry problems and mentorship, fostering a visible talent pool of young professionals in Cyprus.
