Israeli President Isaac Herzog visits Cyprus for talks with President Christodoulides

Israeli President Isaac Herzog is visiting Cyprus today following an invitation from President Nikos Christodoulides. The two leaders will meet at the Presidential Palace to discuss ways to deepen cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between Cyprus and Israel.

The visit is part of ongoing collaboration and regular contacts between the two presidents aimed at further developing ties. Security measures have been increased across Larnaca and Nicosia, including intermittent road closures from 9:00 to 16:00.

Additionally, a protest event has been organized in the evening outside the Presidential Palace by the Pancyprian Peace Council and other anti-war activist groups opposing the Israeli president's visit.
