SynerJoy Choir represents Cyprus at World Peace Choral Festival in Vienna

The newly founded SynerJoy Choir from Limassol, Cyprus, made a remarkable international debut by representing the country at the 15th World Peace Choral Festival in Vienna. Performing at prestigious venues such as the United Nations Headquarters and the Musikverein's Golden Hall, the choir showcased Cyprus's rich cultural diversity through a repertoire spanning classical to contemporary music. Founded in 2024, SynerJoy emphasizes unity through music, bringing together more than 30 singers from various countries who all call Cyprus home.

The choir's performance included the traditional Cypriot folk song Ta Riallia, highlighting their commitment to sharing Cypriot heritage while embracing multiculturalism. Their efforts earned them a Silver Award at the competition, reflecting their growing international recognition. Beyond music, the choir fosters intercultural friendships as members exchange languages, customs, and experiences.

Following their success in Vienna, SynerJoy plans to continue expanding its international presence with upcoming performances in Cyprus, Vienna, and Berlin. The choir aims to further promote Cyprus's vibrant choral scene and strengthen cultural ties worldwide through artistic collaboration.
