National Bank of Greece to announce Q3 2026 results and interim dividend dates
The National Bank of Greece (NBG) will release its nine-month 2026 financial results on November 5, according to an updated financial calendar. Following the results announcement, the bank's interim dividend timeline includes an ex-dividend date on November 16, shareholder eligibility assessed on November 17, and dividend payment scheduled for November 20. The bank has not disclosed the dividend amount yet.
Goldman Sachs forecasts an interim distribution around €220 million and anticipates increasing dividend payments in the coming years, projecting €0.59 per share in 2026, rising to €0.90 by 2028. Despite lowering earnings-per-share estimates slightly, Goldman expects strong revenue and credit growth, with credit expansion targets exceeding €3 billion and a robust CET1 capital ratio expected to remain well above regulatory minimums.
The investment bank highlights NBG as the best-capitalised Greek lender, expecting the bank to leverage surplus capital for higher shareholder returns and lending growth while maintaining a buffer for strategic opportunities. Goldman recently increased its price target for NBG shares to €18.75 while maintaining a neutral rating.
