New Cyprus Talent Pathway Showcase to scout British-Cypriot footballers in London this October
A football showcase aimed at identifying British-Cypriot and Cyprus-eligible players will take place in London from October 27 to 30. The Cyprus Talent Pathway Showcase, held at Capital City College’s Enfield Centre, targets players aged 16 to 21 who may fall outside existing Cypriot scouting networks. Participants will be assessed by a coaching team including former Premier League striker Matt Derbyshire and coach Mike Pieri, using advanced technology from StepOut AI to evaluate performances.
Supported by the Cyprus Footballers Association (PASP), the initiative offers players a chance to enter the Cypriot football scene. Those securing amateur or professional contracts in 2026 or 2027 could qualify for academic scholarships covering up to 75% tuition at PASP partner institutions. The showcase is also linked with Superior Squad Management and has London Greek Radio as its official media partner, increasing outreach to the British-Cypriot and Greek communities in the UK.
Organisers emphasise that this programme addresses the disconnect between the large British-Cypriot population and scouting networks in Cyprus. Registration is free, with a £149 participation fee for selected players, and limited commercial sponsorship opportunities are available.
