Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus and JA Cyprus renew partnership to boost youth entrepreneurship skills
Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus and Junior Achievement Cyprus (JA Cyprus) have renewed their partnership to continue empowering young people by enhancing their entrepreneurial and employability skills. This collaboration supports the JA Company Programme, which enables students aged 16–18 to create and operate real student companies, gaining hands-on experience in business planning, marketing, and sales.
The programme saw participation from approximately 550 students during the 2025-2026 academic year, with numerous student companies formed nationwide. The winning team, HerShield from St. Mary’s School Limassol, earned the title of Company of the Year 2026 in Cyprus and achieved third place at the JA Europe Company of the Year 2026 competition held in Riga, Latvia.
Both partners highlighted the importance of practical learning experiences and expressed commitment to investing in youth entrepreneurship through Coca-Cola HBC Cyprus' #YouthEmpowered social programme. Since its 2017 launch, the initiative has supported over 5,800 young people locally and nearly 1.3 million across Europe and Africa, aiming to reach more than three million by 2035.
