Child arrested by bicycle police after vehicle theft in Larnaca
A minor was arrested by bicycle-mounted police in Larnaca after allegedly stealing a vehicle from a car wash. The incident was reported by a 43-year-old man who had left his car at the car wash before it was stolen on Wednesday. Subsequently, police issued warrants for two suspects.
At around 7:30 pm, officers on bicycles located one of the suspects, the minor, and took him into custody. The child is expected to appear in court later the same day for a remand order.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation into the theft is still ongoing as they continue to pursue leads related to the case.
