Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation launches inclusive 'Finding Our Common Ground' workshops

The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation (BoCCF), in collaboration with the Cyprus Red Cross Society, has introduced "Finding Our Common Ground," a creative social inclusion initiative aimed at fostering communication and connection among diverse cultural groups. The workshops blend art, play, and cultural heritage to promote mutual understanding and equal participation of newcomers and vulnerable populations in Cypriot culture.

Held every Monday from October 5 to November 30, 2026, at BoCCF in Nicosia, these 120-minute sessions offer participants a guided interactive exhibition visit, cultural exchange activities, and hands-on art creation. The workshops are conducted in English with translation available to accommodate participants' needs, and transportation is provided by the Cyprus Red Cross Society.

Facilitated by art psychotherapist Eleni Petridou Bouriti and supported by sociologist Nikos Papadopoulos, this program provides a safe space for dialogue and cultural sharing. It underscores the importance of cultural heritage as a bridge for social inclusion and fosters a more inclusive and fair society in Cyprus.
