PASYKAF Celebrates 40 Years Supporting Cancer Patients with New Anniversary Publication and Fundraising Campaign

The Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF) marked its 40th anniversary on September 15, 2026, presenting a special publication titled "40 Years Together in Life" to highlight four decades of support for cancer patients and their families. The event took place at the CVAR–Severis Foundation and coincided with the launch of PASYKAF's 35th annual awareness and fundraising campaign.

President of PASYKAF's Board, Dr. Anna Achilleoudi, emphasized the association's continued commitment to providing dignified care and meaningful support. The campaign underlines the individual nature of the cancer journey, aiming to raise €550,000 to fund free services including care at home, physiotherapy, transport, psychosocial support, and palliative care. PASYKAF operates two palliative care centers across Cyprus and in 2025 provided support to 8,763 people and their families.

The fundraising drive will run nationwide from October 7 to 11, featuring public donation points, telethons on Alpha Cyprus TV and radio, and various community events. PASYKAF thanked its sponsors, partners, volunteers, and the public for their ongoing support, reaffirming its dedication to assisting those affected by cancer throughout Cyprus.
